The building is characterised by its iconic Falun-red wooden façade and a generous canopy at an urban scale that frames the entrance while providing shelter from rain and sun. Inside, visitors are welcomed by a central, light-filled atrium—a new community living room for the city. This hub provides easy access to all the facility's features: a library, art gallery, bistro, arts school, meeting rooms, and a black-box auditorium for performing arts.

The exterior features a south-facing cultural square with an outdoor stage and terraced seating, framed by lush greenery. It is a space designed for everything from large-scale events to quiet, everyday moments. Built with a sustainable mass-timber frame and high-quality natural materials, the Cultural Centre is designed to age beautifully and serve the people of Ulricehamn for generations to come.
