The plot is located in a rural part of Lidingö, near Stockholm, positioned high upon a cliff overlooking northern Djurgården. The house takes advantage of the site's varied topography to accommodate three floors: an entrance hall, living and dining areas at the top; bedrooms and a studio at the terrace and pool level; and a basement containing a cinema, gym, and spa at the lowest level.

On the entrance side, the house appears as a single storey above ground, framed by an arcade that creates an initial outdoor room in the sequence leading into the house and beyond towards the view. In plan, the house features a narrower mid-section which, on the upper main floor, helps define the spatial division between the kitchen and living areas. The resulting open angle of the façade creates diagonal sightlines within the house and spatially frames the terrace facing the sea. Internally, the home's three levels develop with distinct characters: from the completely open floor plan of the top level to gradually more enclosed and intimate rooms on the lower floors.
The combination of exposed cast-in-place concrete and dark, hard-fired brick with wide joints connects to the mineral and solid materiality of the rock. Inside, the spatial frame of concrete is contrasted by the soft, warm textures of oak floors and woodwork, alongside limestone in the bathroom and spa areas. The garden and terrace spaces are also designed with surfaces of brick, solid wood, and natural stone.
