Set in the undulating coastal landscape of Österlen, the Kivik Art Centre is a sculpture park featuring works by artists and architects from around the world. The project by ThamVidegård, scheduled for completion in 2027, can be described as a pointed arch extruded to create spatial depth. The result is an immersive space—a place along the footpath where one can pause for a moment before continuing onwards. From a distance, the pointed arch forms a vertical portico in the landscape, framing the view towards the sea. The curved ship plates are linseed oil-treated, giving the steel a matte black protective surface.
